How Does ModJaw Work?

While you are sitting in the dental chair, we place the Tech in Motion™ device over your lower jaw. This simple device employs an HD medical camera and specialized facial trackers to record jaw movements—such as chewing, speaking, using the phone, and swallowing—in real time without requiring X-rays.

The captured motion data is processed by TWIM™ (The World Is Motion) software, which synchronizes it with 3D models from intraoral scanners, CBCT scans, and facial scans. This integration results in a “digital twin”  image that combines both static and functional aspects of your oral anatomy. You will be able to see your face, jaw, and teeth as a 4D, moving image on the computer screen.
