Education and Research Experience

Dr. G earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in biology and chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before attending dental school, she conducted research and contributed to published work involving total hip replacement prostheses with Dr. Charles A. Engh at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute.

She subsequently earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Academic Appointment and Advanced Dental Education

In addition to caring for patients at Studio G Aesthetic & Family Dentistry, Dr. G serves as an adjunct professor in prosthodontics at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.

Her continuing education includes advanced concepts in comprehensive, restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry through organizations such as the Nash Institute for Dental Learning and The Pankey Institute. Her clinical interests include comprehensive treatment planning, dental implant restorations, dental crowns, porcelain veneers and smile rehabilitation.
